How to use Cheddar

Ask me anything!

Type a question and hit Send! I answer from Kettleback's own knowledge, the six docs Nadia publishes to my folder, so I know the actual answers, not generic advice. Try:

  • "What's the wholesale minimum?"
  • "Who approves a credit over $50?"
  • "What's on the opening checklist?"
  • "When do we roast decaf?"

If I don't know, I'll say so, and I can pass your question straight to Nadia.

Message Nadia

Tap Info to Nadia next to the message box, type the thing, Send. Use it for questions I could not answer, a correction to a doc, a purchase request, anything a human should see. It goes to Nadia for review, and a human reads every one.

Standup

Tap Standup, fill in Done, Today, Blockers and Heads up, hit Post. Nothing is a real answer, so tap it when it's true. Post by 10:45: that's when I nudge whoever is missing and draft the day's brief for Nadia. A late post waits for tomorrow's brief.

Who sees what

Questions aren't posted anywhere. Messages go to Nadia and stay held until she reads them. Standups land in the log the whole team can see. The brief reaches Ray only when Nadia sends it. I never send anything.

Hi, I'm Cheddar, Kettleback's little helper! Ask me anything about how we do things here: wholesale terms, the opening checklist, credits, roast days. I answer from our own docs, not from the internet. Tap Standup for your daily update, or Info to Nadia to leave her a message.

What this is

Cheddar is the internal version of a greetling: the same master Pearloo is built from, with the process lane switched on. The team asks it questions and it answers from the documents the lead publishes to its folder. Standups go in through the drawer. At 10:45 a clock trigger nudges whoever is missing and drafts the day's brief into the lead's mailbox, where it waits for a human to send it. Every run leaves a line in the log.

The real one has run a real team every workday since July 28, 2026. It lives inside that company's Google account, so what you are looking at is a copy on Kettleback Coffee Roasters, a company that does not exist, with a team that does not exist. The answers are canned from six fictional documents, so the page works without a key or a model.

Try it: ask a question, post a standup as Priya, then switch to Nadia to read the inbox and compile the brief. The sheet, the draft and the log on the right move as you go.
